Here at Christmas Cottage Nursery we value and promote the wonderful ability children have of using their imagination.

Story time not only supports children in developing literacy and communication but also refuels their imagination; giving them themes, stories, plots and morals to include in their own games and role play.

To make the most of story time and its benefits the children have access to a wide variety of story and picture books, the local library bus as well as being encouraged to bring in their own favourite stories.
